Our Open Day for new Year 7 students takes place on Saturday 3rd October 2026.  Arrival is between 9am and midday with talks from the Principal at 9.15am and 10.30am.

You can also book a tour of the school between Monday 5th October 2026 and Thursday 15th October 2026.  These take place at 8.55am, 11.15am and 2.10pm.  Please call the school office on 033 336 02120 to book onto a tour.

We have staff training on Friday 16th October followed by half term so no tours will be available after 15th October 2026.

Data Dashboard

The Department for Education produces a “Data Dashboard” for each school in the country. The purpose of this Data Dashboard is to allow parents to see how students in the school are performing compared to all schools nationally and similar schools.

Students at The Rochester Grammar School perform exceptionally well compared to all schools and similar schools. This is particularly pleasing as “similar” schools will include Grammar Schools outside the Kent and Medway area with a significantly more selective intake. The school is judged to be in the top quintile on all factors demonstrating that students achieve outstandingly well and make excellent progress.
